Kristina came to play at Cowal Music Club in 2024 with Laura Sergeant on cello.  We enjoyed her playing so much that we asked her back to play a piano solo recital in 2025. 

Bulgarian pianist Kristina Yorgova was the 2022/2023 Emerging Artist Repetiteur at Scottish Opera where she was also music director and pianist for the opera Highlights tour. Previously she was a Studio Artist répétiteur for at the Mascarade Opera Studio in Florence, Italy. She is also one of the répétiteurs in the Georg Solti accademia in 2023. Kristina graduated with a MMus from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland where she studied with Professors Petras Geniusas and Fali Pavri. She was a finalist at the 8th Stasys Vainiunas International Piano Competition in Lithuania. Kristina has performed as a soloist with the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra, The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland Symphony Orchestra and the Stara Zagora and Vidin orchestras in Bulgaria. She has played recitals in venues across Europe including Bulgaria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Norway and Russia. In 2022/2023 Kristina will work as a vocal coach at the Haute Ecole de Musique, Geneve- Neuchatel.
