About the event
Brass Tracks is a professional quintet based in Scotland dedicated to performing music from the last 500 years to the present day and making it accessible to audiences young and old.
Brass Tracks was formed in 2013 by Edinburgh trumpeters Finlay Hetherington and John Sampson. Members come from varied musical backgrounds including theatre, orchestral, chamber music and brass band. Since the forming of Brass Tracks the group have performed at various interesting venues such as Glasgow Central Station (as part of Virgin Trains’ ‘Live at Central’ concert series), led the ceremony for Fife Sports Awards and performed at the Metrocentre in Gateshead.
